Noah — 7 and 12 months old

We recently photographed Noah’s 1st birthday party… It was a fun event celebrating a big milestone in this little guy’s life! We’ve been photographing Noah since before he was born (see here). It’s awesome seeing his personality emerging as he enters toddler-hood. Before we post a few of our favorites from his party, here are a few favorites from his 7 month session that we hadn’t had a chance to post yet:

And a few of our favorites from his birthday party:

Three Little Birds — Halloween party

Happy Halloween! Yes, I said Halloween. I just couldn’t resist posting a few of our favorites from a Halloween party we photographed… I seriously started feeling chilly and smelling wood smoke as I chose my favorites. Ahhh… fall. My favorite season. And this party embraced all that was fun: great food, a bonfire, games, and (so awesome) a “happy halloween” parade.

Another thing about these photos that had me itching to post them is the fact that Three Little Birds is one of the most the most amazing childcare/preschool ever. Whenever I check out their blog I find myself wishing I was that age all over again…  seriously. Check it out. I’ll bet you never had this much fun when you were their age.

Andrea and Aaron — Wedding Reception

We were traveling through rural Minnesota on our way to photograph Aaron and Andrea’s reception, passing by beautiful rolling hills, farm fields, and cow pastures, when we came to quite a sight. Their reception was at the Little Log House in Hastings, MN which is an amazing place filled with old pioneer buildings, an antique gas station, a spiral bridge, a working machine shop with vintage tractors, and the Village Hall which is a great space for a reception. Aaron and Andrea, who had their wedding in Cabo San Lucas, threw a great party… it was a lot of fun to photograph!

Erin Kate’s 30th Birthday Celebration

We photographed Erin Kate’s 30th birthday celebration at Cafe Lurcat in Minneapolis. “Hollywood glam” was the theme of the night and everyone was decked out in their finest glamorous attire. It was a great crowd and a lot of fun.

Big Brothers Big Sisters: Rock the Cause

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Twin Cities teamed up with Rock the Cause to put on an awesome 80’s concert and event to raise money for BBBS. Guests came decked out in their most fabulous 80’s garb. The event also helped to create awareness of the current need for more “big brothers” and “big sisters” in the area.
