Three Little Birds — Halloween party

Happy Halloween! Yes, I said Halloween. I just couldn’t resist posting a few of our favorites from a Halloween party we photographed… I seriously started feeling chilly and smelling wood smoke as I chose my favorites. Ahhh… fall. My favorite season. And this party embraced all that was fun: great food, a bonfire, games, and (so awesome) a “happy halloween” parade.

Another thing about these photos that had me itching to post them is the fact that Three Little Birds is one of the most the most amazing childcare/preschool ever. Whenever I check out their blog I find myself wishing I was that age all over again…  seriously. Check it out. I’ll bet you never had this much fun when you were their age.

Tonia and Michael — engagement

Tonia and Michael’s session started at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis. We had fun exploring in the woods and around “Wedding Hill” (quite literally, it’s a wedding venue for nature-lovers. Really gorgeous!). We also photographed at the Stone Arch Bridge area in Minneapolis. These guys were so playful and natural in front of the camera… we have such a fun job! 😉

Leigh and Eddie — engagement

Posting all of these fun engagement sessions (more coming!) is making me seriously excited to photograph all of these wonderful couple’s weddings. We talk all of the time about how awesome we think our wedding couples are… and summer is coming SO soon!!

We photographed Leigh and Eddie by the Guthrie Theater and Mill City Museum in Minneapolis. I really love that area for the awesome textures and colors that come across so nicely in photos! These guys are a blast, and I’m sure their wedding will be amazing! 🙂

Sarah and James — engagement

We started Sarah and James’ session, in Prior Lake, before the crack of dawn (to take advantage of the lovely morning light). Sunrise light has an amazing quality that can’t be found any other time of day. Love crack of dawn sessions!

These guys are so fun, we’re really excited to photograph their wedding!

Pugh Family

I photographed the Pugh family when the leaves were vivid and amazing… Remember last fall? The leaves just stuck around… There was an especially lovely and vivid spot in South St. Paul that we were able to use as our backdrop. And what a great family! Love them!
